When someone says “4 rings”, what do you think? If Audi came to your mind we’re on the same wavelength. Matt Demetria’s 2004.5 Audi A4 Ultrasport was on his mind when it was bone stock. He dreamed of the day it would be complete and now, he gets to live out his dream each day.

Matt took delivery of his car on May of 2004. From the start, he knew what he wanted out of the A4 Ultrasport canvas. Quickly, a Boosted Tech Cold Air Intake was installed along with Eibach Coilover suspension. With the drop in ride height came 19” Axis Milano wheels. Never being satisfied, the Eibach Coilovers soon changed to NEX Racing Prototype Coilovers which let him drop the car an extra 2 inches than his previous Eibach suspension. Soon after, the Boosted Tech CAI changed to a Carbonio V1 CAI. Modifying quickly, it only took months after the suspension upgrade to tack on a Rieger body kit. He accented the kit with a Kamei Grille, which gave the car a really clean look up front. Looking for more power, Matt turned to the first REVO chip developed for the 04.5 A4. To build even more power, Neuspeed power pullies, an Ecode Tuning test pipe, custom quad tip exhaust and an HKS BOV were added. To round out the initial phase of modifications, OEM Germany S4 chrome metal mirrors were added.
After driving the car and hitting the show circuit for an entire year, the nofuknjoke family, influenced him to change his style. Matt decided to embark on a more “Euro Style” route. 18″ Kerscher wheels were put on, a custom fitted Kenwood, a 3 bar grille and Status Laguna leather seats with carbon fiber backing. After doing a lot of research on the “Euro Style” look, Matt knew the Kerscher wheels would put him on his way to a dream.

It didn’t take long for the Kerscher wheels to become stagnant, thus, Chrome Tracer Tech-1 wheels were bolted on. 18″ x 9.5″ up front and 18″ x 11″ in the rear made for a wide stance to capture the “Euro Style” poke on all four corners. Kerscher wheels weren’t he only thing ordered from Germany. A rear bumper kit with a Kerscher rear diffuser was put on as well as a DTM Carbon Boser hood that was fully painted to match the car. The hood is held down by Top Secret Aero hood pins. Going over the top, Matt added a black-painted roof and red LED taillights. Again, the nofuknjoke fam convinced Matt to make yet another addition. Gold rivets were added to the new Tracer Tech-1 wheels. Matt eventually created his own style with all of the modification’s noted above.

We can’t always predict what the future brings and for Matt, an unfortunate accident sent the Audi to the body shop for repairs. However, Matt used his misfortune to act on his dreams and finish the car as he had always wanted. The door rub strips were shaved while the OEM Ultrasport door flares were molded into the door. In the rear, an OEM European trunk lid was installed as well as a molded OEM Ultrasport spoiler. In front, the fog lights were deleted and a Racetec front mount intercooler was installed. As his mind ran rampant with a shave here, a mold there, Matt decided to repaint the entire car. Matt decided to take the car into an ocean blue color with a twist of royal purple pearl. When the dust settled and the sun hit the new coat of paint, Matt was happily surprised and fell in love all over again.

Mr. Demetria continues to keep his Audi as a daily driver. With this custom A4, that takes testicular fortitude considering the car sits only 3″ off of the ground. No matter how low Matt may go, his mantra of modifying the Audi to his tastes only will always follow him.
